GIRL SCOUTS~MALL MADNESS

Angie, Morgan, Emma and I went to Mall Madness. It is put on by the Girl Scouts. There was several stores that stayed open all night. It actually ended at 5:00 am. Angie and I wore out at about 3:00 am, but the girls were still going strong. We had our pictures taken at JCPenny, and we really had a lot of fun. People actually had tents pitched, and air mattresses on the floor in the mall. It was kind of weird seeing that in the mall. A good time was had by all!!!

Our 4th of July!!!!!

We had some friends and family out for the 4th of July!!! Dennis' parents, Stephany and Danny and their kids, Kathy, a friend of the family, and her children and Kathy brought her niece and family out as well. So, we ended up with about 18 people here. Kathy LOVES this holiday, so she brought ALOT of really good and big stuff to provide us with a pretty nite time show. This might have to become a yearly tradition!!!!

NOTE: Notice the lack of pictures with ME in them.........does this seem to happen with other families too????? I never seem to be in pics!!!!!

GIRLS TRIP TO DALLAS

Angie and I drove to OKC to pick up some friends, Wendy and Cathy, then, we were off to Dallas for a very relaxing, fun-filled, girls weekend!!!!!

An actress in the family........

Emma was recently in a play with our homeschool group. She had a really great time, and it even inspired her to write a play for us to do here at home. Jordy was backstage this year helping with the props. They all did a really good job!!!!

Jordy had to have a mole removed that looked a little disturbing. At the age of 14 and being a motocross racer, this is his first "surgery" of any kind. He has never had any kind of surgery or stitches, so, of course, I had to take pictures for scrapping. And he, of course, was embarrased that I brought the camera into the doctors office. The mole was sent to pathology, and was completly benign. Thank God!!

WHEELIES, WHEELIES, WHEELIES!!!

Almost every evening, Jordy takes his dirt bike out and practices doing wheelies. He has gotten pretty good!! Of course, it makes nervous but everything he does makes me nervous!! The pictures are kind of blurry. It's hard to get a good pictures when he is moving so fast.

Jordy rides his dirt bike almost every evening, and of course, Emma wants a ride too. She loves it!!!!!

Emma got a new bicycle a couple of weeks, because I ran over her other one and bend the wheel beyond repair. Although, in my defense, she parked it behind my van. So, anyway, she got a NEW bike out of the deal. She was very excited!!!!

Notice the tall "rubber" mud boots.....she is definitly a "country" girl now!!!!

Finally, planting success!!

I was very exciting to see this rose coming. Even though, it is my first rose of the year, even more importantly, this is a rose bush that I dug up & brought to this house from our old house. We have lived here for 2 1/2 years and this rose bush has not done well at all, if fact, it hasnt bloomed a single rose until now. Actually, I was going to pull it and replace it with a new one this spring but then I saw it with buds. And I now have a beautiful yellow rose!!!



I was actually very exciting to see this also. I planted this peach tree our first summer here and it as very tiny when I put it in. So, imagine my surprise when I saw fruit on it. Yeah!!!!

I cannot guarantee that the next several posts will be in order but you will get the idea. Sorry, I guess if I stayed caught up this wouldnt happen!!!!

MOTHERS DAY!!!

Emma was soooo excited to get me WEBKINS for Mothers Day. She came to the conclusion that I needed WEBKINS, so we could play on the computer together. She got me the Panda and the Pig. It is actually pretty fun to play!!!

I had a good Mothers Day. I went to Riverfest with my mom, like I do every year. Then, I spent some time at home with my kids and then, we went to dinner with my mother-in-law. It was a very nice family day!!!

I know that I have not posted anything in a long time, Karma!!! I am not sure if my life is not as exciting as everyone elses or if its TOO exciting, therefore, I dont have time to post!! LOL.... I will try to be better at posting!!!!!!!! Thanks for the reminder Karma.

OUR TRIP TO BRANSON.......

We just got back from a little vacation to Branson. We left on Wednesday, it poured to ENTIRE way down there!! We went to see the Titanic, Ripley's Believe It or Not, Silver Dollar City, Hollywood Wax Museum, rode Go-Carts,did lots of fun things. We had a good time even though it was cold.

My poor puppy.......

Long story, but I will make it short. We recieved a Yorkie puppy on Christmas Eve from our neighbor. They seem like the type to not take very good care of their animals. Anyway, when they brought the puppy over, she told us that the puppy had "a little ringworm" on his head. So when we took him to the vet, we were told that he had a RAGING case of ringworm. I dont know if you have ever had a dog with ringworm, but you have to keep them confined from other animals. So, Max had been confined to one of our bathrooms for since christmas. We really havent had the opportunity to play with him or train him. At his check up this week, the vet said that the ringworm was almost all gone but there was still some on the hair follicles, and that shaving him would be the faster and easiest way to get rid of it. So, today, Max went in for his "shave". He looks like a little rat!!!!!

I have been telling Emma all winter long that we will have a vegetable garden this summer. Well, last weekend, it hit me that it is SPRING and if we were going to have a garden then I had better get busy. So, I got Dennis and Jordy out there to dig my garden for me. Well, Dennis decided that it would be so much easier with a rototiller. So, on Sunday, we went and got a rototiller from Augusta Rental. Dennis had my garden tilled in no time. So, since we made for 2 hours, I put him to work in other areas of the yard. So, apparently, I want to be really busy this summer tending gardens because I had him till up 3 gardens!!!! What was I thinking!!!

EMMA GOT HER 1st MOTORCYCLE.....SHE IS SOOOO EXCITED!!!

Easter Day!!!!

This year for Easter, we went to Dennis' parents house. My mom also came over there too, since we are her only family. My mother-in-law also invited some people from their church. Kathy and her kids, Noland, Kami and Devin. It was a day filled with fun, friends, family, and lots of candy.
